Like I said, I am 15 years old and if I had to choose between Democrat and Rebublican I would be a Republican. How can I start the road to politics?

What classes should I take in highschool?

Where should I go to college (colleges in CA)?

What organizations can I join and volunteer at right now?

All advice is welcome.

Thank You and God Bless America!

  1. Lesson number one ,,learn how to lie so good a nun would beleave you and your on your way to a great politician

  2. Congratulations on having a mind for civic responsibility.

First off, a lot of your decisions now that may seem unrelated are very important.

It will benefit you if you abstain from illegal drug use, underage drinking, premarital s*x, and other similar decisions.

As for what you can do now, contact your local chapter of the Republican pary, it is an election season, and they have work for you right now. They need people to make phone calls, knock on doors, stuff envelopes with fliers, post signs, and so much more. Volunteering in the local chapter will do many things for you, from teach you the ropes, meet invaluable contacts, and give you experience that will either confrim your convictions or change them.

As for school, remember that every class you are in is important. Study hard, and get As. While you don't have to have the highest IQ to succeed, it helps. Join your school Key club. Run for class office as soon as you can.

As for college talk to your high school counselor about your ambitions. He or she can be an invaluable aid to you. This contact is often under used. In CA they had a TAG program when I was in school that helped make transfering from community college to a UC easier. Whether it is TAG or something new, use it. Any UC will be good, but your high school counselor should be able to point you in the right direction more than Yahoo! Answers.

Scouting programs are excellent as well. Kiwanis and Lions clubs also have youth programs that are good as well.

Lastly, from the God Bless America comment I assume you are a person of faith, that is good. Talk to your Pastor or Minister about your ambition, and be an upstanding member of your church. Volunteer with them as well.

    And God bless you.

  3. join clubs and try to be class president and stuff will help and in college joining the greek system would help alot i guess

  4. hey you just answerd my question about singing.

you got any idea for song choices?

  5. Listen and watch as much George Carlin as you can.

  6. You have made the right choice.  Just remember this:  Democrats tend to act and vote with their feelings while Republicans tend to act and vote with their heads.  As you get older, you will notice this.

As far as high school classes, just do the best you can.

For college, take political and economic courses and make sure your professors do NOT have a left leaning political agenda.  Join Republican organizations.  You can find these through your local and state Republican offices.
