Question:

I am 15 weeks pregnant, can I eat Five Cheese Ziti al Forno at Olive Gardens?

I read that soft cheese is not good, does ziti have any soft cheese that is risky to eat? Thanks.....

  1. You are allowed to eat any type of soft cheese just as long as its pasteurized.  It's actually good for you as long as it's pasteurized.  You can ask your waiter/waitress what kind of cheeses are in the dish and also if there are any soft cheeses, if they are pasterized or not.  If they can't provide this info for you - choose something else.


  2. I don't believe there is but it should be okay because the cheese is heated and melted...ENJOY!:)

  3. I don't think you would have a problem eating this.  All of this cheese is cooked and therefore all the bacteria - if there was any, which I doubt - would have been killed.

  4. Don't worry... nothing at the Olive Garden was ever actually cheese...

    Ha, no they're not talking about melted cheese, they're talking about cheese that has not been pasteurized. You're fine.  

  5. I am a pasta junkie.  I eat different kinds of pasta at least 3 times a week.  This is my 5th pregnancy and I have never had any problems.  If you are that concerned call your doctor and ask them about it.  They'll be able to help you.
