My birthday is August 17th, and I got my first job application today. Do I have to wait to turn it in until I am actually 16, or can I just put a sticky note on it explaining that I am only 15 years old, but my birthday is in a few days?

  1. Turn it in now.  They may not even interview you for a couple of weeks and you'll already be 16.

  2. Turn it in now. They may not even be able to have you start until the 17th, but at least you can interview and possibly be ready to start on your birthday.

  3. do not put a sticky note on your application!

they will see by the birthdate how old you are.

    it shouldn't be a problem.

    good luck.

  4. you can turn it in whenever you, but if the place doesn't hire anyone under 16 then they can wait a couple weeks to hire you if they like your app. however i would wait until your birthday or within a week of because sometimes applications that cant be handled asap get tossed in filing cabinet with hundreds of others and never seen again.
