  1. Been through this one myself. I received SSDI for my son when he was a minor. He was only allowed to make a certain amount per month before his benefits would be affected. At the time,it was $700.00 a month,but it may have gone up by now. After you  go over the amount you may earn,they will take away $1.00 for every $2.00 you make over the limit from the SS check.

    SS benefits for a minor end at age 18 or the month you graduate from HS if you have already turned 18.

  3. not as long as you remain in school you will still get your check until you are 23
