  1. Yes, you're old enough. I worked in a nursery when I was sixteen, they did a police check on me, which came back fine. But please, think about it first. It's not fun all the time. Some nurseries put the kids down for a sleep in the afternoon, so there'll be nothing for you to do. You may get bored. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. xx

  2. you can be a non teaching assistant in other words work with children from 16

  3. yes definatly lots of my friends are doing at now and they are all 16

  4. You are old enough - however you're unlikely to get a position without qualifications or experience (I have tried, though luckily for me I do have experience!!)

You can apply for an apprenticeship position though - that way you can work and get qualifications that might help you become a teaching assistant later on :)

  5. Yes ur old enough hunnie,

some jobs in creches will offer on the job training with the opportunity to get a qualification.

My daughter went to a creche where they had someone your age and she loved the girl she was reas really energetic and good with the little ones.

Good Luck I am sure it will all work out for the best.

  6. Yes once you have had a police check you should be fine to work with children

You may need a small amount of training for certain roles though

  7. Yes - you are old enough to work with children. However, you may want to consider volunteering at a school if none are willing to employ you.

The nurserys that will take you are more than likely going to take you on a basis where you work 3/4 days a week and on you day off go to college and study for a qualification on your day off.

You will also need to be willing to pay for a police check.

  8. My mates only 17 and he's working as a teaching assistant. Ask around.

  9. no you are really not odl to work in a creche i personally think you are too young for that you're gonn aget bored at a later stage promise you my love

  10. Hi!

I am a Brazilian Teacher and owner of a School (Pre-school) for child ... I don't know the laws of your country ...

Well, I have a "Helper" has the same age of you ... She is trainee ...

I don't think that your age is a problem, since you know reconcile work and school...

    Good luck!

    Carmen

  11. you need specific training. probably a cert I and II in child care and food handling etc. and whoever employs you needs to remember that some parents may not be happy to have someone as young as you looking after their kids.

and a police check to make sure u don't steal stuff/rape kids etc.

  12. I believe you can do so.....but pleeeeeez dont forget your education....unfortunately it takes the degree to advance in life.....

  13. Hi,

Yes, here you can work at the daycare if you are the age of 16/17.  However, at the center I worked at,  you had to be 18 to be left alone with the kids or you had to have another worker who is of the age of 18 in the room with you at all times.

  14. i don't think so, you need to be of legal age, 18, in order to care for children

  15. what you can do is do an apprentiship in early years so you get to work in a nursery whilst being taught.

  16. Yes, you are they will run a police check on you, and if that comes back good you should be fine
