  1. The chance of you being great is decent, but to be discovered is slim. Just play for fun, because being a prodigy isn't everything.

  2. I started when i was 12 and SUCKED!! Everyone else had done it since birth basically since their older siblings had done it. Im the oldest so i was the first to do it in my family and now im getting better (i may be able to make 5 as a starter) not the best but its an improvement, so its not too late for you... and if you work really hard you can even be number 1 XD

  3. If u play a lot, yes. I am 14 and started last year, i am doing REALLY good,

  4. Of course it is not too late. You can still be great with perseverence.

  5. I've been playing since i could walk because my dad's a coach. I played #1 for my team and we were ranked 3rd in state, but i had 3 buddies that played hockey with me who decided to start playing at 15 and repped us at 4th singles and 2 at second doubles. You can definitely play starting at 16 if you're athletic. but just make sure to mimic your game after the greats. Watch Roddick

  6. as long as your dedicated and have the determination to do it then yes just train really hard maybe get some help from a professinal

  7. no!not 2 much late!i am 13 and i satrted it when i was 10.now i'm great tennis player and i'm in the way!it's never late!see you in ROLAND GAROSS!good luck!

  8. its not to late

  9. No. I started when I was 12, and my coach said i'm 3 years away from the French! Don't give up hope. My moto is : Fight for what you want, don't let anyone or enything get in your way! Put up a good fight, and you'll get there.

  10. no need to worry. try ur best

    u can do it.

  11. i know someone that started playing tennis when they were 17 and by the time that they were 18 they were ranked in the top 20 in the state! so yes there is a good possibility that you could end up a good tennis player. if you don't find yourself improving... then get a pro to help you (no not like a personal Andy Roddik, but a pro as in they have a liscense to coach)

  12. way to late

in order to become a pro you should have started 5 years earlier, and this would have been rather late as well

  13. It depends on your definition of 'great'.

If you consider great as Federer, or Nadal, or even Roddick, well I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but your chances are less then extremely slim.

I'm not saying that you can't, I'm jsut saying that its extremely tough at this late a stage.
