I am 16 weeks pregnant and want to know if flying a small unpressurized aircraft (Cessna)would be harmful?

22 yrs old, just worried about the amount of O2 and doing it repeatedly.

  2. flying pregnant women above unpressurized altitude of two kilometers I would consider a serious health risc. Certainly flying at FL 140 which is obviously higher than the O2 equipment necessity flight level, which is FL 100.

    that is above FL100 even a aircrew is in danger of suffering from hypoxia, yet to speak of pregnant woman and the offspring.

    Fly the 1000ft above ground trips, that should be OK.

  3. I am no doctor    i do however fly  corporate helicopter   i have  taken  pregnant  women   i would guess  in their  7-8 month   up to 14000 feet unpressursed  with no problems    flight  duration  little over 3 hrs

  4. Should not be an issue if you keep it below 10,000 feet. With Cessnas you most likely don't fly much over 5-6000 feet, which is the altitude of Denver. Many healthy children born in Denver.
