I am 17, what should i get as a first car? a 02Toyota Celica GTS 71,637 mi or a 01Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 84,900

the toyota is going for $10,995 with 71,637 miles

the mitsubishi is going for $6,495 with 84,900 miles

also i am 6'3 tall, would i fit in the car

The Toyota Celica is definitely a better car than the Eclipse, i had an uncle who owned a Eclipse and the transmission in it was really bad and other minor things kept failing adding up to a lot of money over the time he had it. A toyota is definitely more reliable, that being said, the Celica is a chick car if there ever was one.

At 6' 3" i don't think an eclipse would be that comfortable for you to be driving around in. The Celica might be okay though, maybe you can look at a 97-01 Honda Prelude too if you like cars like the Celica. You'd definitely fit comfortably in the Prelude. But out of those two options you said, i'd go for the Celica i guess.

the Toyota is a good deal even though it cost more its a lot better car,it also will drive better,there's nothing really wrong with the eclipse,id choose Toyota because they do hold up good,that's a  good deal on the one you found,have it checked though before you buy it,just to be sure there's nothing wrong with it,good luck with it.
