I dont feel sleepy till around 5 or 6 in the morning. Even if I try to go to bed early i cannot seem to do it.

This is not healthy at all. It seems to run in the family my Grandfather is the same way.

No matter how hard I try I cant sleep before 5 or 6 even during school and running on 3 hours sleep at school takes its toll.

I dont drink any Caffein I drink alot of water and I relax most of the night.

Arg.... Its 6 and im not tired...

  1. Im 17 also and I find some hard core exercise always puts me out. I once took up tae kwon do, the teacher was relentless, that night after a 3hr training I was out like a light. But different things work for different people, if nothing works you should just see a doctor. You probably got insomnia or something.

  2. try Benadryl it will knock you out

  3. Are you a cell phone user or do you happen to live near a cell phone tower?

Ever since a tower went up in my old neighborhood, I have been unable to fall asleep and remain asleep during the night, and I recently learned this is a classic symptom of electrosensitivity, an emerging environmental illness. If you are using a cell phone, or cordless phone, or being exposed to wi-fi, this will only make things worse.

I would also check into Lyme and some common coinfections like babesia, bartonella, ehrlichia, mycoplasma. I have a hunch that my infections are being fueled by these frequencies.

  4. It's normal for teenagers to have normal sleeping patterns, it's usually just a phase.  And, if it runs in your family, that means you're more likely to get it.  If it doesn't blow over in about a month, take some tylenol pm, or something.  If THAT doesn't work, see your doctor.

    Hope I helped (:

  5. that's exactly the same as me. i get to sleep around 5 and i have to get up for school at 7.

i tried reading a book, that doesn't work.

i tried having a bath, that didn't work.

i tired not doing any exercise hours and hours before going to bed, that didn't work.

so at the moment I'm ******, and i think my last resort is sleeping pills.

  6. try reading a good book before sleeping or listening to some soothing music. ambient music like the sounds of sea or wind really helps. but if you can't get it, then listen to your favorite song. also have a light dinner and  drink a glass of  warm milk before turning in.  also have a hot or cold bath( according to your wish) and hour before going to bed. you might also want to make some changes in your room like moving the bed or turning down the temperature. but if nothing helps, then my advise is that you should consult a doctor.

  7. i have a crazy opinion but it might work.

get yourself tired and let your energy get lost so that the body would be forced to sleep early.
