I am 17 can i have my mom buy a plane ticket online (adult) and put it in my name?

Is that how you buy a minor a ticket? if not how do I obtain a ticket ..its just from kansas to west virginia.

Duh, yeah you can. Just have your mom put it in your name online or however you do it.

The short answer is yes.  It has to be in your name or you don't get on the aircraft.

Yes, your mom can just buy the ticket and put your name on it. But make sure it's YOUR name - security will check that the name on the ticket and the name on your I.D. match at the airport.

Your mom can buy the ticket for you, you don't have to do it.

But your name has to be on the ticket. You also need a photo ID. The name has to match the ticket. I do it all the time for my son.
