I am 17 if i created a paypal account how can paypal know i am not 18 and delete my account.?

if i used my deit card to fund the account to pay for things could they find i am not 18 that way, or would i be able to get away with it?

Change your year of birth to the year before your real birthdate. Try and change it back in 1 year, if it won't let you, who cares.

I'm 15 and i have a checking account joint with my mom. I have a paypal account since i'm addicted to ebay and they don't bother me.My transactions go right through. I have had it for about two months now. Great way to purchase items online. Your fine. They won't do anything. I did'nt even know you had to be 18. hmm

There is no true way of PayPal telling your age without requesting proof of ID, such as passport or driving license. As long as you keep your account in good standing, then there is no reason for them to request this information. I've had a PayPal account since I was 15 without any issues.
