have to wait the full year unfortunately-but i was lucky and took drivers ed and took the test just last week with the driving instructor at my school(also a baseball coach) and i think you have to have it for 6 months to take the driving test-than they put it in the book and then you go to the dmv and just pay and you get it.simple as that-the reason you wait a year is so that you get your 40 hours of practice-which you sign and promise you did-otherwise if they found out-goodbye license for another year from that date-so just be patient-i had to wait 7 months to get my permit and i thought i was going to die-dont rush it -its not that exciting-youll be sick of driving sooner then you think
