I am 18 and want to go to visit my bf in MS. My mom will go with me, but my dad still may not let me go. Help!

I was going to go alone, but my dad said no, (which makes sense), so my mom agreed to go along. I want to go either on the 21st, or any other day from then to the 28th. Dad still isn't sure about me going..help!

An 18 year old like you sound very mature enough to visit your boyfriend. But plus your mom is going with you too. But if he still want let you take him along and show him the you are reponsible and that you are mature enough to visit people you want to visit when you get ready to.

Sit down and talk to him. Do not be on the defensive.  Hear him out. Find out why he's unsure or leary about your making this trip - even with your mother along.

When he is done explaining his side, then present your side as to why you want to go and why you may not see a problem if your mother goes along with you.  

Find a way to discuss this situation and not yell or scream.  Perhaps, he's worried about something that you might not be aware of.

Give your Dad some credit and talk to him.

Your 18, not an unaccompinied minor at that age so it doesn't matter ,just go.
