Alcohol is so much cheaper here in the US and it would be nice to at least bring a small amount of liquor.

  1. You can but you will most likely have to pay duty on it.  Duty free is only for the country you come from.  You buy booze in Canada and bring it back to the US, where you live, without paying your countries duty on it.

If you were Canadian, coming back to Canada, then you can bring in duty-free.

  2. No. Amount does'nt matter. Ever watch that episode of "That 70's Show"?? Not a bright idea...

  3. You have to go by the laws of the country where the duty free shop is located. If you are coming in from a state where 19 is the legal drinking age, you should be okay. If the drinking age is 21, they won't let you buy it.

  4. I don't think customs will care that you broke American law and bought alcohol underage.  But it could go either way and you might loose your booze.
