All my life i never really played much sport, my parents never pushed me or anything.

Now that i am older, i fell as if i need to compensate for all those opportunities that i never got.

I feel as if i need to prove to my friends and family that I CAN play sport and that i'm not a "no hoper".

I have never really played AFL before besides kicking the footy around.

Is there anyone else out there that has experience the same situation?

Or am i the only one?

  1. If was to convince someone to play football it would be easy. I am 13 and I have been playing football since I was 6, I think it is the greatest game on the planet (if not the universe). In my situation unfortunately I have to stop playing because I get really really bad pains in my feet. Also if I run for more than a Kilometer the next day I won't be able to walk for the whole next day. So I encourage everyone that is thinking of playing. If your 19 who care it just means that you need to work on your skills a bit, maybe play in a lower division and see how it goes from there.

  2. you won't make it professionally but you can play socially whenever you like just learn the rules improve some of your technique and try your best.

  3. It's never too late

  4. Well if you work hard and improve yourself maybe you can achieve your goal.

  5. You would need at least 10 years of training and experience to compete professionally, but you can play for fun all you like!
