Question:

I am 19 wks pregnant and feel anxious alot?

I was a bit anxious before but its got worse, especially at night, I wake up worried. Its not about anything specific. i am starting preggie yoga which is helping a bit. But I am concerned about the impact my anxiety might be having on my baby..any ideas?solutions?

  1. Have you talked to your doctor about this?

    I suffered from anxiety and depressed pre-pregnancy so my midwife has been keeping a close eye on me.  Itend to suffer from anxiety attacks in bed at night also.. I scratchlike crazy (when there is no itch) and have to move around a lot.  My husband is good, if he's awake, and will lightly stroke my arm or something like similar to that - it makes my mind concerntrate on that feeling as opposed to the scratching.  Since i've been pregnant I have to say my anxiety levels have been pretty good.

    I have some other really excellent techniques for lowering anxiety (taught to me by a psychologist) levels if you're interested let me know!
