  1. You could get braces, but at your age, dental work isnt free.  Even if you are pregnant, you only get essential work free.

  2. You can't. You'd have to go to your GP and prove you're emotionally damaged by the gap and therefore he'd put in a recommendation for NHS, but you'd have to convince him that it's really affecting you badly. Like people who get breast reductions etc.

    But yeah, under 18 (16? 18?) only I think

  3. It seems that you're only entitled to have orthodontic treatment under the NHS if conditon of the teeth is serious enough.  A minor problem is classified as cosmetic and is privately charged.

Also since you're over 18, it's likely that you may have to pay for orthodontic treatment under the NHS.

I hope this helps. Take care always.

  4. its ur teeth you can do what you want

  5. i dont think you can

  6. Is the gap in your teeth caused by the flap of skin that connects your lip to your gum being quite low? Because you may need to get that restiched higher up in your mouth.

  7. Unfortunately, the first answerer was right.

To get NHS treatment for cosmetic dental issues over the age of 18, you need to prove that your problem is damaging emotionally. Even if you succeed in this, they would send you to a psychiatrist first to see if that will help.

  8. Yep Could Be A Option :)

I Would Go To Your Dentist And Ask Him What The Best Way To Go About It Is :)

He May Say That There Isnt Anything To Do, Or That It Is Best To Leave Your Teeth The Way They Are, He May Also Say That You Can Have A Cap.

Or He May Reffer You To A Orthodontist :)

    Good Luck.x

    :)
