I am 21 and im training to be a golf pro?

i know i can do it but sometimes i dont feel very good about myself and my confidence goes. this effects my golf. how can i improve this and be more confident. regards

Go buy all of Dr Bob Rotella's tapes, or books. He is the leading sports psychologist for golfers. Many of todays top professionals seek his advise.

Confidence and good golf are like the chicken and the egg.   Work on the things you CAN control and you cant control confidence. Practice and work your tail off.  Hopefully practice will lead to good golf and good golf will lead to confidence. Also, when you play, visualize what you want to do, not what you DONT want to do.

are you training to be a golf professional or a professional golfer? There is a big difference. It sounds like you are training to be a professional golfer. Becoming a golf pro is relatively simple, and although you have to be a relatively good player, you don't have to be great enough to have to train. You just have to get through the GPTP (Golf professional training program).

TRAINING TO BE A PRO? A FEW QUESTIONS FIRST OFF. HOW ARE YOU TRAINING? ARE YOU ENROLLED IN THE PGA PROGRAM? IF YOU ARE HAVE YOU TAKEN AND PASSED PAT?

WHO IS GIVING YOU ADVICE AND GUIDANCE? DO YOU WORK IN THE BUSINESS RIGHT NOW AND IF SO FOR WHO? ANSWER ALL THESE QUESTIONS? OKAY IF YOU HAVE NOT YOU NEED TO FIRST WORK ON GETTING ON THE RIGHT TRACK BY ACCOMPLISHING THOSE TASKS FIRST. I FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO ACTUALLY BECOME A CLASS A PROFESSIONAL. SOME CAN JUST SHOOT THE LIGHTS OUT, HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH PAT OR GIVING LESSONS. OTHERS COULDN'T BREAK 90 TO SAVE THEIR LIFE BUT KNOW THE INS AND OUTS OF THE BUSINESS ASPECTS OF GOLF OPERATIONS. REMEMBER YOU MUST BE WELL ROUNDED AND BE CAPABLE IN BOTH ASPECTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL. CONFIDENCE ISN'T JUST OUT ON THE COURSE OR AT THE RANGE. IT IS ALSO NEEDED IN THE SHOP AND IN SALES / MARKETING.
