I am 21 yrs old.I was wearing spectacles from 8th standard.

Question

I planned to remove my glass by undergoing laser treatment..it seems to be too costly..they are charging 50k..my power is 3.00 cyl,

150 degree for right eye and 3.00 cyl,20 degree for my left eye..can i use contact lens for my power?...is it safe?

Contact lenses are quite safe if you follow the care instructions. Since I am not an eye doctor, I am not sure if you have astigmatism, like I do. But, I found that could not wear contacts, toric lenses, that corrected for all my sight problems. Toric lenses move when I blink (which happens quite often). so, the best solution was glasses.

Here, in the US, lasik correction costs around $2,500 US per eye.

Yes, you can go for contact lens safely. But, if you are in India, I would advice you to take a mixture of  Shatawari Powder and Misri with luke warm glass full of milk, preferably cow milk. Continue taking it for 6 months. Simultaneously, you can take powder of black pepper and Misri with butter, early in the morning. Try these for the aforesaid period. God will bless you with normal sight, if you  have faith in God.

Yes, there are contacts that go up to your power. You would need a toric lens (to correct for your astigmatism) but they come in disposables, so they are very healthy as long as you take care of them properly! They are not to costly, get an exam with your local doctor and they will fit you with the best lenses for you!
