I am 22 weeks pregnant and i have not felt my baby move? ?

I went to the doctors two weeks ago and got an ultra sound done they told me every thing looked happy and healthy ( i thought i was actually 27 weeks ) wow what a difference but anyway they told me that the baby usually starts to be felt at 18 to 20 weeks ... i guess i do not know what i am feeling for because i don't think i have felt anything but cramping ... i told my doctor that i had heard some people say they could feel their baby at like 8 weeks and she said that they were liars and that the baby has no impact by then .....so i guess my question is what does it feel like when the baby moves and when did you feel your baby? have i felt it and missed it ?

this is my first pregnancy and i am a pretty average size (i heard the bigger you are the longer it takes to feel)

  1. One every pregnancy is different and every women is different, I remember when I was pregnant with my first child and waitin for to feel her kick, it was a kinda funny feeling sorta like popcorn but it popping in ur stomache, and ur doctor is wrong about women being lairs on feeling there baby move early cause I am on my second pregnancy and i am 22 weeks and 5 days but anyway I started feeling my baby move at 8 weeks and now he kicks everyday about the same time or after eat and relax, its common not to notice ur baby kicking at 22 weeks because he/she might be kicking and moving slightly but u can feel it, I would give it other couple of weeks and u should be able to feel something if u feel like ur have gas put ur hand on ur stomache for a bit u might be surpraised that the gas ur experincing is actually baby moving.. and if ur still concerned then get a second option by another doctor then most like will do a full ultrasound again to make sure the baby is ok, It's ok to be concerned because u dont know what is happening and if ur baby is ok or not especially if u think u cant feel him or her move, and if that new doctor says ur baby is fine then talk to him about ur concerns maybe he or she will have a different answer for u, I hope everything turns out and GOOD LUCK being a mommy is the best gift in the world...
