  1. At 20 weeks, the top of the uterus should be even with your belly button.  So at 22 weeks, it's only a little bit higher than your belly button.  So no, the baby isn't up in your ribcage (yet).

Shortness of breath is a common symptom of pregnancy.

  2. no not yet... about 28 weeks or so

  3. At 22 weeks your uterus should be measuring 2cm above your navel. So the uterus itself isn't up in your rib cage yet, but it could certainly be displacing other internal organs upward making you feel that way.

  4. nope not yet. im 27 weeks...its just re-adjusting you posture and putting strain on your body so it may feel like it.you'll get Shortness of breath....

  5. the baby never moves up to the rib cage. I know because all my sisters have had babys. the baby may be upside down and kicking at your lungs but the baby is also 2 tiny to be hurting you right now. hope it helps.

  6. No. The baby is not there quite yet - I am 23 weeks and the highest I feel my baby is about 1.5 inches above my belly button.

Not to say that your uterus is not moving other organs around that are crowding your lungs. Furthermore, the hormone progesterone makes you breath deeper without even knowing to keep up with the increased blood volume and heart demand. Sometimes this can create a feeling of breathlessness.
