  1. Of course NOT!!!!  The purpose of a learners permit is to drive while being supervised.  No way can you drive alone with just a permit.  It is dangerous for others on the road.

Go here after you get a ticket: http://www.gototrafficschool.com

  2. no, you need a licensed driver with you until you have yours.

  3. You probably can go and get a license and be able to drive alone.

In Colorado, anyone over 21 doesn't even have to go through a permit. They can get a permit, and since there are no requirements for getting a license from there, you can just go in and get a license straight off.

Check the Illinois website for rules and laws pertaining to that, though. I'd guess you're fine.

  4. No. U need to be with a licenced passenger.

  5. 22 you dont need a permit you could just take ur driving test

and yes with driving permit u need someone with a license beside you

  6. Then what would be the difference between a learner's permit and driver's license?

    No you cannot.

    Good Luck...

  7. no, you have to go and get your regular licesnse, i think you have to even renew you learners permit.

  8. NO YOU STILL NEED A LICENSED DRIVER WITH YOU.

  9. I believe that in order to get a permit you must know the rules?

I hope I don't meet you while traveling the highway.

  10. No, you need a licenced driver with you. It MIGHT be different state to state, chances are slim... but if you want to you could check with your DMV.

  11. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE 22 DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU GET ANY SPECIAL TREATMENT!  YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR LICENSE BEFORE BEING FULLY ABLE TO DRIVE ALONE.....

    SHEESH!

  12. yea if your over 18 you dont even need to go throughthe waste of time temp, at least thats what its like in wisconsin

  13. No...No License...No Driving Alone...Illinois or not...you are still in the United States!

  14. No. If you have a learners permit there must be a licensed driver in the car with you at all times.

  15. No, you should get a license before you drive alone.

The learner's permit requires you legally to have someone with you.

  16. yeah you cant you have to wait 6 months till your provisional. and then you can drive with one friend.

  17. No. You have to drive with a parent/guardian with a license. Also it has to be during a daylight hour.

  18. idk im only 14 but i think u cant

  19. Read your Driver's Handbook. In there it will state that you need a licenced driver in the front passenger seat with you at all time.........and check the details......it's a LEARNER'S licence

  20. well depending on the state you live in. Where i live if ur 18 or older u can drive alone with just a permit

  21. NO?

  22. No.

  23. no

  24. no, even if you were 50 years old, you have to drive with a licensed driver if you only have a permit.

  25. No matter how old you are, you CANNOT drive alone with a learner's driving permit.  As that term says, it's a "learner's" driving permit.  YOu are LEARNING and are not a driver yet, by the law in any state.  When you have a "DRIVER'S" license, then you may drive alone and, some states even have certain restrictions on that regarding times or day/night, etc. for a probational period.  DO NOT drive alone.  If you are caught, you're in big trouble.  If you have an accident, I can't even tell you the trouble you'd be in for not even having a driver's license.  I'm sure you wouldn't be able to get one then for quite some time.
