I am 24 and 32 weeks pregnant and yesterday I had my final scan

Question

to check the fluid on the kidney, it is still the same as last time but hasn't gotten any worse, does anyone know what this means? Also they estimated my baby to be at least 9pound when it's born! I am tall and have put on 13 kg during this pregnancy(my first) my sugur levels were good and I've watched what I;'ve eaten(so I thought!) is there a resason my baby's going to be so big? My mother is only little and we were all long babies but no more than 8pounds. I'm scared..

Don't worry. It's nothing you did that made the baby 9 lbs. Babies are all different. My brother and I were only 6 lbs, my husband was a small baby and my son was 8 lbs 8 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long!

I haven't heard of checking fluid on the kidney....but if your worried about that ask the doctor. Anytime I had tests done I always asked what they were and what the result meant.

Do not get to worked up on the weight. They told me my son was going to be 9-10 pounds at least. They had us all nervous and what not but when he was finally born he was only 7lbs 9ozs. They can never be certain on the weight of the baby. I promise don't get worked up over it!

9 pounds isn't that big of a baby i mean its bigger than the normal 71/2 pound child but not out of the question huge

i don't know what fluid on the kidney means?

i know what you mean with the kidney thing. my daughter had a dilated kidney at 23 weeks. it was suppose to measure 4 and hers was 4.3. i have a follow up appointment next tuesday which i will be 33 weeks pregnant. i too am scared

Also you said before you were 25...now you are 24?

Stop your worrieing my Brother and i were both over 9lbs and my Mother did'nt have any problems what soever. We were both born at home with just Mom and the Doctor around and not all these high tech gadgets plus a staff of Professionals around.
