My top fronts ( four teeth) and my bottom fronts ( four teeth ) have come out and i have adult teeth there. Unfortunately, all of the rest of my teeth are still baby teeth. I took an x-ray at the dentist and it showed two sets of teeth. One of them in the gums and the other(of course ) outside the gums. I have one side tooth that is doubled. It's painful because sometimes it feels as if the adult teeth inside the gums are pressing to come out. Why has this happened to me?

  1. I think you should see another dentist....Ask around and try to locate one who has experience with stubborn baby teeth.  I remember having at least one baby tooth pulled to force the one below it to raise its stubborn head.  Good luck.

  2. It is a good thing you are going to the dentist, they can help you much more with your situation than the answers on YA

  3. it's called lazy teeth. my stepmom has one. the dentist told her he could pull it and put braces on to pull the adult tooth down. why don't you ask your dentist about that?
