I am 25 yrs old and love gymnastics, is it to late for me to start training?

  1. It's never too late to start gymnastics, it's great exercise and fun! You'd have to do light gymnastics though, anything too hard and at your age you'll be at a huge risk of injury. But if your training to be in the olympics, sorry to say but in 2012 you'll be 28 years old and most gymnasts have retired well before then, I don't think the olympics is good goal for you.  .


  2. It might be. But you should still give it a try. Gymnastics is pretty demanding. It's hard on the body. But give it a try. I did gymnastics and had a great time.  

  3. to be honest its wayyyy to late. i started gymnatics when i was 3. thats when most people start. and after a certin age the injury risk is wayyyyy higher! im 15 now and i have sprigned ligamnets all down my spine and muscle spasms and if your 25 i think you could get hurt aloooot more. but its amazing fun so you should still learn how its always fun to just mess around!

  4. If you have not started training, you have not experienced the injuries and pain. You may not like it afterall.  

  5. never too late to start exercising, but if you think you will make the olympic team in 2012 I think it might be a little late..../
