I am 27 year old female,is it ok for me to use 10lb dumbells to workout?

  2. Yes, these light weights are great for general toning up of your arms, but will not give you great muscles or strength. Start off with 3 sets of 10-20 repetitions, if you could manage, once daily. Increase the number of sets and repetitions as you progress. Good to complement your swimming training so as to gain stamina and greater distances. But dont forget some double and single knee-bend exercises, while carrying  weights in the hands. Do your exercises slowly to prevent any strains. Once you get a kick out of these weights, you may wish to progress to  heavier weights and join a gym, for more  benefits to tone the whole body--including you know, great abs.  Best of luck and looking forward to a new you!

  3. I think you can use it as long as you are comfortable with it, and if you have any health problems contact your doctor before start  doing your workout.
