I am 27 years old, 6-5' very lean(thin) and live in myrtle beach, SC. Where can I study karate or kung fu?

Is it unheard of to get into martial arts at age 27. I am very interested and would like to do it for a hobby and maybe more. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

its never too late!!! 27 is better than 28 so get started right away!

go to http://maps.google.com and type in your area and "karate schools" or "martial arts instruction"...and itll show you how to get there. and often links to their website.

i think karate's a better option cause kung fu is more for people who train from a very young age, whereas karate can be learnt from most ages.

p.s. i know someone who 47 and is learning karate
