toilet paper (unless it was lint?) I also had a fair amount of mucous (not blood tinged) all of this after a bm. I hate to get checked for nothing, but would also not be happy if something bad happened. Should I call my midwife? The cramping, low back ache started yesterday. I really am unsure if it was blood or fluff on the toilet paper. I do have a GBS infection detected at 22 weeks that I have taken oral antibiotics for and has never cleared up. Your opinions please.

  1. When I was pregnant with my son, I had bladder infections. The symptoms were very similar to yours. Call the doc.

  2. Get checked! I thought I was a child bearing expert after 3 beautiful babies. I am currently undergoing a miscarriage that has lasted about two weeks! It is never silly if it upsets you. And you should also know I had no pain at all, just spotting. When they figured out that my baby wasn't going to make it the first thing they did was check my tissue for an infection, so I would encourage you asking her if that has something to do with it. So stop reading this and go now!

  3. Call the doctor. You have reason to be concerned. Midwife? Ok, call the midwife. I think you need to be seen. This doesn't sound good at all.

  4. Just ring the midwife and get her to do a phone consultation.  if its anything to be worried about she will say.  Best to get urself checked though.

Even to put your mind at ease.
