I am 31 years old, 3 kids, a husband and I still don't know what to do with my life, What type of job? I am not sure what type of job that I want. I need to find one as soon as I can. I have some certificates from college in office work. But I don't want to sit at a desk all day. I want to be able to move around somewhat. I worked as a manager of a food establishment from 2002-2008. I took off in January to take care of the family and to keep my house straight. That did not work out like I wanted it too. I have just gotten lazy and I stay tired all of the time. Do you know if there is an online test that I can take to help me decide on what to do? Do you have any ideas on how I can decide on what job to do? Do you know how I can find the job that I want. This means alot to me please help!

I would check out a temp/temp- to- hire agency. I always got to pick and choose alot with them. I told them exactly what I wanted and they always delivered. I would never job hunt the traditional way again.

Well, If you want more free-time to yourself and get home when your kids do, you could become a teacher's aide. Check with the school district office and they can direct you on what you need to do. You wouldn't have to do any lesson plans, just help out with the little kids. Get off work aorund 3pm... it's nice. :)

Good for you to not be reasonable with yourself!!!

two major options:

1. go to your state occupational resources office, part of the state labor department and take their aptitude tests and others which will allow you to hone in on what makes you tick and compare it to the education and skills you already have. Another option is some libraries offer the test free. Yet another option is on line tests for the same purpose.

just get yourself a job. Even though that you don't like it much but it is first start. Keep your eyes open while you are work. if some thing come up and you like it that apply for it.

If you have 3 kids and AREN'T tired all the time, I'd be surprised.

But, there's always time after the kids are grown to do what you want.
