  1. I would not worry about this at all. I never could tell what was what with either of my first two kids. Near the very end every once in awhile I'd see a foot or something like it poke my skin. At 34 weeks, most likely the babies head is down so try to image his position in reference to where you are feeling the kicks. It may help but I don't think anyone can really know for sure. Good luck!

  2. Haha!  I'm 38w+6d and I still don't know what's poking out of me!!!  I think it has a lot to do with guessing and imagination!  :)

  3. I could never tell what was what. I just knew at the end of my pregnancy I could feel his butt because he was head down and always pushing his backside out. I'm not sure how women can distinguish between hands and feet... I guess they must be that good. Personally I just think they're guessing depending on how their baby is positioned.

Don't worry, that doesn't mean your baby is small or something is wrong with him.

  4. im 35 weeks and i was feeling something just an hour ago when i was laying down saying, man i wish i knew what that was!! it has nothing to do with the health of your baby or your size its just your trying to feel this little body part through all your skin and organs and since your not an experienced doctor its hard to tell!

  5. Good Question.. Maybe after I go through a pregnancy I will be able to answer it!

  6. It is hard to tell. One way to make it easier is if you know your baby is head down. If it is the butt and feet will be at the top, and the hands down in the lower part. However, my baby had one foot up by his head, so I would feel kicks both at the top and at the bottom.

  7. Your fine dont worry about it im also 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant Good Luck & and Congrats!  =)

  8. I'm not as far along as you, but because I know she is head down-I know that it's usually her legs moving. Sometimes I feel some movement down near my pelvis/legs-so I assume that's her hands, but for the most part it's her legs and butt i feel. They are super hard.

There is a couple times now when I could feel a circular harder part sticking out near my belly button. Not sure if it was a knee or foot or what...but you could distinctly tell it was an appendage. :)

I think some people can just never tell, and other just assume they know.
