I just left the hospital yesterday, I was there two days because I was having contractions about every 5 minutes and had back pain. When I got there they checked me and I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. They finally sent me home and told me to relax and if I had more contractions to call them. Well, I am having more contractions but they are not painful really. How much longer do you think I have before I deliver??

  1. I'd call like they said to. Painful or not if they are contractions it's best to follow what they said. By the sounds of things you may not have much longer.

They didn't try and stop the contractions? when I had them at 36 weeks they did because they said it's not healthy to have the baby until after 37. So I had to take medicine for a week.
