I am 36 days late on my car payment. Do they have a right to reposess it?

I have a had a few late payments but always get caught up. How far behind to you have to be in order for the bank to repo your car?

well really just one or two days will do it sometimes 36 days im sure they been looking for it and just have not found it yet

They can, but will usually wait to right around 60 days.  You should call them now and make some sort of arrangements.

One day late is all that is needed for someone to make your car vanish from your driveway.

If repo folks weren't already loaded with work, yours might be gone already.
