  1. There's a strong chance you could be.  Have your bags ready to go!  Your time is soon. ^_^

    (In the meantime.  Take it easy.  Take a nice warm bubble bath and watch a funny movie!)

  2. It could be if it keeps up you might want to contact you ob and get checked out.

  3. My OB told me that there are only 3 sure signs of labour:

    - Water breaking;

    - Regular contractions 5 minutes apart or less; and

    - Sustained back pain.

    So it can be. She said, if the backpain gets unbearable and does not ease when you lie down or change positions (try walking if your are already sitting or lying) and if panadol does not help ease the pain and/or if it gets continuously worse to call the hospital or go and L&D. Ask yourself the questions I have noted above and contact L&D or your doctor if you are still unsure.

    Goodluck - bub is not far away for you in any case.

  4. It's possible.  In my child birth class they told us that a good position to get into in this situation is to get on the floor on all fours and stay like that for a few minutes.  It encourages the baby to move, and should make you more comfortable.

  5. depends. i had BAD lower back pain when i was going into labour, so it might be, BUT dont stress, everyone is different, it could just be back pain as such, the baby might be sitting in a funny spot also! oh and if you have period like cramps aswell thats more of a sign that it might be.

  6. Do what she said above, get on all fours and kind of move your hips a little, this will encourage the baby to switch positions and you will feel better.  Also try having a warm bath, it will relieve some of the pain.  This could be a sign of back labor but most likely isn't, I have had an extremely soar back for the last 3-4 weeks and my due date is today, still no baby.
