I am 37 years m wkg in govt as stenographer in india and wish to change my career in BPO, IT,etc. I am always satisfy with my job and only to earn more and gain respect I wish to change my career. Kindly suggest any courses suitable to study, such as DTP, or programming languages.

Dear friend, you appear to be groping too much in the dark as of now. I would suggest that you sit down and think things through. First, take a stock of your strengths - is it language, communication,  aptitude for computers, dealing with people and so on. Connected to this, what do you enjoy doing. In all probabililty, you will find that the two match.

Now, look for opportunities in that field. Break out from the normal way of thinking, and think BIG. Say you have great typing skills. One way is to earn money by typing. Another is by teaching others to type. Obviously, you will earn much more from the second. Now think beyond normal - what if you take typing classes, and also take on job work for typing, with your students doing the job work - so now, you will have people paying you to type things for them, and people paying you to do that job for you!!!!!!!!!
