  1. with your experience in the field, you can try for another job,  All the best.

  2. As per ur name it says you are a woman (correct me if wrong, but it will not make diff.)

As you have said, everything you know i.e.Purchase, Accounts, Administration and other correspondance work. (apart from HR you know everything about general trading house). 18 years experience is great experience.

now there are 2 things: first you stay with you current management (even if there is no company). They must be aware of your value thats why they will not prefer to loose you. They must be thinking or planning of other business where they can place you and make use of your experience. You need to decide on that personally as you know your bosses that they will not differ from their words after company is completely closed or you need to look at their resources where they will pay from.  If they dont have any other business, i doubt they cant pay you from thier pocket. so think carefully about it.

secondly, if you opt to leave the company and go out. you are entering very competitive market but lucrative. As retail market in india is booming, there is no problem in getting better opportunity in your field with your kind of experience. Only thing you need to look at is can you compete with fresh MBAs/PGDBMs. I am saying they are fresh, they are polished, they are smart. can you outcompete them. You have worked in 1 place for 18 years, can you adjust fast in new environment? if you can then think of doing certificate / diploma /degree courses (just to get the certificate and add it on CV). To consider your age and other responsiblity its not advisable to spend lots of money also. You can go for postal/distance courses also. But first thing you need to learn is make sure you are presentable and you can compete with fresh MBAs.

we can always discuss more on this.
