I am 48 and I genuinely feel about 27. How old are you and how old do you feel?

I am 48 and I can hardly believe it.

I am told I look 39 but I feel like I am still in my twenties.

I need another 40 years, please, so I can grow up!

I feel like I haven't even started yet and yet many of my friends have gone before me.

What do you think?

Am i really going to be half a century in two years even though I feel 27 years old?

I have the soul of a 90 year old.

Thoughts? Comments? Opinions?

i can imagine that most people feel different ages from the one they currently are-i remember when i was young felling older and now I'm 30 i still feel 18 yet with the knowledge Ive gain i know I'm older yet something inside didn't change its like Ive always been me-this part of me-like its timeless-

I think that's great, my dad is like that, he is the same age as you,

I think it shows determination and you are having a happy life if you feel that young for your age,

chronologically age 35, feels closer to 55-60.

IDK... maybe once the kids are grown and IF life ever gets back to a reasonable pace, perhaps that will change later on.

Feel all of this is what you feel its an emotion is not something certain is more of a stage you are going through,You are 48 years old and that's a fact.If you condition you're mind to be Old and you have a soul of a 90 year old then that is poor and i mean poor logic,,,,,,Live for the day the Future is always the present its what you do in the present that will later become the Future....

Well I am 26 with 2 kids, a full time father, I work for myself, and aslo wait table part time and I feel 48. I just feel beat up and stressed, although I am in good shape. Life is short regardless, live it to the fullest. Go with your thaughts ands wants. Who cares if theres enough time, atleast you will try and feel good about trying, right?
