  1. 4 ft.

  2. YO MIGHt CONSIDER IT

Floyd Mayweather is 5'8 165 lbs

and hes is the greates boxer in his divison

  3. no

  4. can u slim down to 122lb? i am 6ft and 135lb

  5. Being smaller can actually be a beneficial thing - Look at Tyson...  He was very short (5'11") for a heavyweight.  Until he lost his mind, he was unbeatable...

Punching up is more powerful than punching down.  Just remember to work on your inside game...  Someone with reach will try to keep you outside with the jab...  Just work on ducking under that jab, getting inside and then throwing tight hooks to the body...  When the arms come down, take the hooks up to the head.  You'll be a monster!!! :)

    Good luck...

  6. If you were to box/fight someone that has an overwhelming amount of height over you, it has it's advantages and disadvantages. When you're the shorter one you can get inside of the opposing persons body a lot easier, but it's harder for the taller person to do to the shorter. But when you go for that inside that can leave a lot of easy shots to the face for the taller person.

  7. No-ones to short for boxing, and they arnt going to pit you up against a 7 foot man mountain, probably a guy around your height and weight

  8. I am not here to lie to you so here it is from a pro trainers perspective. If you are 5'4" & 150 pounds you are either really muscular or your fat! No joke, I have a 5'4" pro who fights at 108 pounds & walks around at 117. I also have a 5'6" pro who fights at 115 pounds & walks around 128 pounds. I event have a 5'11" pro who fights at 147 pounds & walks around at 160 & all of these guys have excellent records.

Most fighters are anywhere from 12 to 15% body fat when they are not dieting & are around 9% when they are. Your weight would put you in with guys that stand around 5'9" or right around that height.

You have more power swinging down then you do swinging up, anyone with a jab will keep a little guy out a majority of the time by fighting tall & setting up bombs with the strong hand. The people using Tyson as an example shouldn't, he was very fast, had great head movement, tremendous speed and lots of power. He was a special fighter that will not be easily emulated.

I am not saying you can't take up boxing, just start doing it & over time you will start dropping weight anyways, plus you will not be in any amateur matches for a wile so don't worry about it. As far as what is the tallest person you can beat? well that doesn't depend on just height alone but on what you bring to the fight? your strengths & weaknesses, skill level, heart and so on.

Look just do it, its a great sport but it also can be very dangerous if you don't train hard! & if you do train hard well the weight will come off anyways. Sorry, kid I don't want to sound like a bad guy but I don't want to mislead you, I am only being honest, Good Luck, its a great sport enjoy it.

  9. not to short but way to heavy you gotta shed alot of wait

  10. its not how tall you are, it's how well you throw a punch. gain some weight, workout, and you'll be a badass. Most bodybuilders are short...just saying.

  11. Depends what age you are

  12. in boxing, height only matters a little. my four-foot friend is AWESOME at boxing. if u were wrestling, i'd worry a little more

  13. Fightings nothing got to do with the length of your arms or how tall you are, its all about leverage, Tyson had good leverage thats how he could deliver more powerful punches than his taller opponents. Same with jabbing its all got to do with timing it right, Mike says that you could be 5'6 and you could jab a guy 6'4.

All it is they wont be able to see you come up lol

Prince Naseem Hamed was 5'2 he was one of the most powerful fighters in his division, I think you could do good at featherweight or lightweight

  14. You would probably be faster and more evasive, and you could go for body shots more easily (which can knock the wind out of your opponent and give you knockouts), if you train yourself to be really muscular/stocky you could beat most people in your weight class.  Having a good arm reach is very important though just so you know

  15. Fight like Smokin' Joe Frazier and you'll be a champ in no time.

  16. Alot About  Heart  You Possess

  17. well considering your 5'4 and your 150lbs your probably fat. So i am considering you losing fat befor eyou get into amature boxing.

  18. Not too tall, maybe you weigh too much.  Most boxers that height are probably in a lighter weight class, like those 95-105 pound boxers.  I dont know what weight class that is,but it's more your weight than your height.
