I am 5'10" and way 190, I just got a pair of Scott Punisher skis that are 172. Is this a good size for me?

Also, I don't know too much about skis. I just started skiing last year, I have been snowboarding for about 8 years and it looked like fun. Are these good skis?

It will probably work just fine for you,

The punisher is a good all mountain ski, and will also work well in the park/pipe.

Just make sure your ski boots fit properly, and you are comfortable with your equipment.

probably, but I'm not familiar with that particular ski (weight, stiffness or side-cut of ski).

I'm 5'11, 195lbs, and I ski on 178cm all-mountain skis made by Dynastar.  With the side-cut, the length works for me on most mountains in most conditions.
