I am 5 days late one test positive one test negative???

Question

I am 5 days late. I tool a pregnancy test 2 days ago that came back with a faint line saying yes. The next day I take another test, it comes back negative. Still no period what is going on!

Were they two different tests or the same brand? Normally, even a faint line means there are increased levels of HCG in your urine, which means you're pregnant. If it's two different brands, some brands are better at detecting than others. If it's the same brand, go to the doctor and have them run tests. Good luck to yoU!

i say call ur doctor and tell him ur hpt came out positive and u want to come in to confirm...they will do additional testing...

HAVE UR DOCTOR DO A BLOOD TEST ITS MORE ACCURATE THAN ANY PREGNANCY TEST YOU CAN TAKE

If even one test says positive, id almost say your pregnant! I went through the same situation with my son. Only the "cheap" tests were saying pregnant, the ept/first response all the other brands said negative. Pregnancy is detected by the HCG hormone which is only found in your body if your pregnant. It may just be to early for the other tests to detect it yet. Good Luck wish ya all the best
