I am 5foot10 in the 8th grade and coaches keep asking me to play basketball if you were a coach would u?

You're 5-10, and are very athletic. Two pluses for basketball coaches. I'm assuming you're female, so you're insanely tall for your age, and should play basketball. Get on that court.

Do you WANT to play basketball, Sweetie??  Being athetic and tall doesn't mean that you WANT to play basketball.  Gabrielle Reese is 6 foot 1 inch and she's a professional beach volleyball player.  AND she models.  AND she hosts sport shows on FIT TV.  So again, I ask...do you WANT to play basketball?  Being in the 8th grade makes it possible for you to do many things, not just what OTHER people THINK you "SHOULD".  Good luck.

yea i would ask you to play and i think you should. but its really up to you. if you do you might like it. the worst thing that could happen is that you dont like it...

Yes. Your probably the tallest girl if your in the 8th grade. That's a good combo if your fast and your tall. Then you can go by players and dunk if your tall enough. Not many people your size at that age can run fast.

i think i would tell u to play basketball because u may be the tallest on ur team and u can just stay inside and make easy shots

ofcorse a coach is gona ask u to play even if u happen to no be good because if ur tall it wont be hard to like jump and dunk! you should just try it... unless u like really really hate the game then its not worth it

Yes your tall for a girl in your grade and most basketball teams need tall players. But make sure yo u know how to play first.
