  1. I would not as a beginning rider take the Motorcycle Safety Course on a large bike, I would check to see if the MSF offers a small bike for the class, most do.  If they do not offer one, try to borrow a small bike from a friend, just for the class.

As far a buying a ninga, when you are 6'2", 210lbs, I would consider that bike a bit small for a person your size.  I would reccomend rethinking what it is you are wanting to do when you ride.  Do you picture yourself doing stunts, or always riding hunched over, & uncomfortable, or cruising down the highway, comfortable and kicked back.

So many new riders end up having to sell what they first bought, to get what they really wanted, shortly after buying their first motorcycle.

  2. I'm 6'5" 210 and started on a Honda Nighthawk 250...the same bike that you more than likely will ride at the MSF course.  Anything more than 250cc to learn on, and you're asking for trouble, unless you are lucky, blessed and/or extremely skilled and careful.

  3. Perhaps, how about look at Suzuki's SV650? I think the resale will be better for one, a few more horsepower and good torque. Be safe, have fun. Good on ya for taking the riding course early.

  4. yes good bike
