  1. You need to practice.

I suggest doing some squats(with a moderately heavy barbell on your shoulders), jump rope with 2lbs leg weights, and you can practice on like a 9-foot hoop until you build up enough strength. It will take some time, but you'll get there pretty soon.

  2. WOW youre taller than my dad. You gonna be taller than Yao Ming. Thats a compliment. Youre deffinally going pro cuz you still have a long ways to grow. I say youre gonna be about 7foot 8. But you need to keep practicing and get better at your vertical jump. And if you have the skills then youre an automatic draft pick once you leave High School.

  3. yeah dude, i think you'll be taller than yao, because like yao was 6'6" at 14, and I'm 6'3" at 14, your a big kid.  I thought I was tall...

O yeah, back to your answer.  You can't jump worth **** prolly.  Cold hard truth

  4. "Sweetie", you think he's going to be 7'8"? You're a clown.

6'5" is a great height and dunking should be easily achievable regardless if you are still growing or not; although I think you can expect a few more inches as you get older.

13 is pretty young, still need to develop strength. Research on Plyometric workouts and do these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plyometrics

Practice dunking on 9ft, 9.5ft, 9 3/4ft if you have an adjustable rim just so you can get your timing down and the "muscle memory" for your upper body. Dunking is more than having a high vertical.

Also, not only leg strength is important, you will need to develop upper body strength b/c you use your arms/back/core for momentum when jumping esp. if you are holding a basketball.

  5. cause you need 3 year worth of practice my son

you must work hard to defeat to dunk to cross over to go to the freekin NBA

  6. You probably cant jump that high

  7. Holy c**p, sorry man but your tall! It's lack of strenght and you need to work on your legs man, but wow, I'm only 14, 5'5.

  8. Try to jump higher, and work on your vertical jumps.
