Any information you guys have is great. I have friends who have all said different things. One said she had to take just the behind the wheel test, I have an other who had to take both, and another said she just had to take the sight test. I am kind of at a loss and don't know what is going to happen when I renew this coming June. I would say I'm a pretty decent driver. Like I said, I have a perfect driving record with no accidents or any driving violations but I would like to know if I should start studying the manual. If any of you out there have any information, I would greatly appreciate it!!

  1. I would suggest your ring the appropriate vehicle registration/ transport place and ask them what are the requirements.    you don't have to give your name, 'just making a general enquiry for a friend'

  2. depends on where you live. If your state has requirements for people of certain ages to take the test when they renew, then you'll have to do it. I doubt one's driving record has much to do with this anywhere.

  3. Depends on which state you live in. California makes everybody take the written test and eye exam every time they renew their license. It isn't until you turn 70 do they make you take the actual behind the wheel driving test again.
