I am 6ft. 1inch and I am buying a 167cm board is this to big or good?

Snowboarding Sizing: I weigh 175lbs and have a size 15 shoe!

Thats a little long dude, the proper way of measuring a snowboard that fits you is if you stand it from end to end the tip should be in between your chin and your nose. thats hte perfect size to learn on once you ge the hang of boarding and start going wild on the baord, its much better to have a shorter board, way easier to whip around...STEEZY!

Yikes!  That's probably a little long, even for such a big dude unless you're experienced.  If just starting out, you want a baord that's a little bit shorter to maximize your control.

Going by your weight and height if you are after an All mountain board go for around a 160, for a freestyle board go for around a 158 and for a freeride board around a 162. Im guessing that this is the first board you are planning to buy and that you are a newish rider?. If so id recommend you go for an All mountain board and as you have size 15 feet you will need a wide board. Also if you are a new rider you would be better off with a board on the small side as they are easyier to turn and progress on, so you could go a bit under a 160. Some good boards that would suit you are Burton Bullet and Nitro Revolt Wide. Hope this helps, Good luck.

It is a little too long for you, but will probably be okay. Check out the boad sizing site below. It says 160cm would be good for your height. For your shoe size you need a wide board. Make sure the board you're getting is wide or your toes are going to hang over the edge.

I'm 6ft 2in and my board is about 164, so that might be a little too long.  make sure the board is a wide board though or your feet will get in the way. try burton's big foot boards, they're costly but worth it.

if the board comes to your chest or shoulder's u should be fine that is how i do the measuring get some good bindings so important WOW u do have big feet well have fun snow boarding i know i am
