  1. Consult your doctor soon and checked out the lump. Breast lumps sometimes cause pain and this is due to hormonal changes. The doctor will do a clinical breast exam like mammogram and biopsy to find the nature of the lump. If possible, stop taking caffeine it causes fibrous cysts. Please do not ignore the lump or any change within the breast.

Great preparation is required prior to the hip replacement surgery, get prepared and stop taking stress; it will only harm your health. For any information on hip replacement surgery, visit the link and read it will help you. http://www.asiasmedicaltourism.com/categ...

    Good Luck…

  2. Hello Jane,

I agree... ask the surgeon if he could biopsy the lump while you are under anesthesia...  try not to worry too much. You have a big surgery coming up that you need all your strength to recoop from! Stress slows the healing process. So don't stress, k?

    good luck,

    Nurse Angie, RN

P.S.  Since the surgery is in 7 days,  you've gotta act quickly. Call tomorrow and mention this to your primary care physician, and get a script to have a Mammogram done. Ask them to get you in right away so that it can be looked at durring the surgery.

  3. Make an appointment with your doctor and have it looked at.  While you're under anesthesia, it might also be a good time to have a lumpectomy done to see what is going on.
