  1. I agree with the above answer.  You need to ask any family or friends for help.  From there, the government might be able to help with a long-term solution with public housing, but you might have to stay at a shelter for the short term. You could also try some of the other organisations out there like the Salvation Army etc.

  2. where do you live? there are lots of shelters to can go to for a short while. or call a family member (even distant relatives).  You never know who will help you in times of need.

If you have a job and good credit you can get a credit card to put your payment on and take 6 months to pay it off. Good Luck

  3. What did you do to get evicted?  Look up the eviction laws for your state.

  4. go and see family or friends see if they can help you out.  you need to do this for your kids  where is the dad  ask him for help if you can.... or hopeless shelter to get help... good luck

  5. Try to contact local resources... Idk where you live but check your local resources in the phone book & call up places and start asking around about where you could get certain help that you need... describe your situation to them & hopefully you can get somebody to help..

contact other local "low income" housing online get on the hud.gov website & look up all the local apts & call them & tell them about your situation.. get ahold of the job & family services & tell them your situation.. maybe they can refer you to somebody... idk but good luck!

  6. Go speak to a social worker, in most states they have emergency funding to help people who are in need. Especially with a small child and new one coming they might be able to help. Also you can look into section 8 housing or public assistance. It's not my favorite choice but if you are in a position like this use it, don't take advantage of it! Once you get back on your feet then you can move on.

  7. Eviction? when they serve you the notice you still have that time period left to repay the amount so you can stay.

if you dont respond the sheriff will come and ask you to move out.

Eviction is bad and it will stay on your credit. but its also bad for the other half - the owner of the home, they could b in a very bad position, they could actually lose their home not just their credit.

  8. call 211(toll-free United Way #) They will give you info on agencies that help with eviction prevention in your area. Get on waiting lists for subsidized housing (30% of your income, $50/month with no income) they put families with small children at the top of the list.

  9. ask family for help. if you have no family, then go to a homeless shelter... you have no choice!

  10. Sorry to hear that, get in touch with your family if you dont have any try the babies father (s) family or a friend, Someone in REAL life who knows you and knows this isnt a scam will sure help a mother and her children in need but im pretty sure no one over yahoo answers will help because you may be truthful but theres alot of messed people who would lie to get help! Good luck

  11. Some counties offer help for people in your situation, call the county, the city, the state, find out about your options.   Please include your state or county location and maybe someone will know information about services in your area.

  12. Wow...

Try going to the city hall. sometimes they have some programs that can help you with rent, and utilities. maybe call a family member, or friend. other than that, im really not sure what to do. good luck!

  13. Why are you being evicted, if you don't mind me asking?  Is it a legal reason? I would talk to a lawyer about it and see if there is anything you can do.

How long has the landlord giving you? Is there anyway he'll extend the time?

Do you have family? Good friends? You should ask them for help.
