I am 9 weeks 4 days pregnant, i am already wearing maternity pants, could this mean multiples?

My husband and i both have twins and triplets that run on each side of our family's, my sister in law was pregnant with twins but miscarried, and she was wearing maternity clothes at 2 months, should i be concerned that i could be carrying more then 1, i have an an appointment next week to listen to the heart beat!

You could very well me pregnant with multiples (Even though a history of multiples an the male side doesn't make a difference).  But even a singleton pregnancy at 9 weeks your clothes can easily start fitting tighter!  long with your growing waistline, you may have put on a couple pounds as well as being more bloated since your digestion has slowed down

Congrats on your pregnancy!  I would talk about this with yout Ob at your Dr.'s appointment.  They may want to do an ultrasound to confirm how many little ones you are carrying

It is possible.  I was huge with my twins and my dr. missed the twin at the first ultrasound.  Twins are great!

awwww, congratulations! Well, its very possible since you have multiples that run in the family but keep in mind too that every woman is different and you might just be someone who shows early like me...I couldnt button my pants anymore at two months and I had to move on to maternity clothes too...I hadnt gained but three pounds but my tummy was already bulging out! You dont have much longer to find out though so good luck!!

Depends - have you changed your diet recently?

Also, my doctor's office usually does the first ultrasound at 8 weeks - in order to check for multiplies and other things.  You may want to ask!

It could be because it runs in the family, but every ones different, when my mum was pregnant with me everyone else thought it was going to be twins or more but it was only me and i wasn't even that big! so it could be it might not be, you'll just have to wait until next week and try to keep your curiosity at bay for a bit longer!

Well congratulations on the pregnancy. I'm so happy for yall. It is possible that yall are having more than one,  but I don't think you have anything to worry about. Everything well be just fine. Just remember I will always be there for yall. I just think that you are further along then they have said you are, I don't think there is more than one in there but who knows there just might be. But good luck with that. I'm here to help with anything you are willing to let me help yall with.
