I am Chinese,i want to learn a foreign language(except Eng;ish) for interest.?

Question

I used to learn Japanese,but it isn't useful over the world.Then i think about Spanish ,French,Russian,Arabic,Korean and i've already gotten the teachers.So which one is better.And i may go to western countries in 4years.additional,i am in high school,we don't have elective foreign language.

i'm pretty sure japanese is useful in the world as it is one of the best economies and if you know chinese already i would suggest you learn french.

Spanish is very, very useful because with Spanish you can travel a lot more places. (Like Mexico...Spain...Argentina)

I highly recommend Spanish because if you know English, it will be fairly simple to learn and great for both business and pleasure.

Spanish is really helpful in the western countries. You get to have a higher pay. The more languages the better, so why not learn french or korean.

Spanish would be the most useful in getting jobs, they will more than likely hire one who knows spanish. It is also the 3rd most popularly spoken, after chinese and english. If you go to the west, you will definately hear lots of spanish. For me, i take that language currently in school. I find it quite enjoyable. Just make sure you love what your taking!

Spanish (Actually I prefer Italian sound & tune to Spanish style)

French (It sounds beautiful, & would be a necessary just like English )

Russian (Not the best choice, but just learn Russian if you really like it)

Arabic (mysterious culture, & guttural pronunciation, I want to learn it, too)

Korean (It sounds worse than Japanese, I just gave up learning Korean)

You should learn either Spanish or French but Japanese is also a very useful language. Considering they have the second biggest economy, you can't really say it's a useless language. Japanese would be understood in Korea, China, Taiwan, the islands, etc.

French! It's really popular and widely used, and one of Canada's official languages. Next to that would be Spanish, but it's more popular farther south and in the US.

I would say learn Spanish because its easy, but being Chinese you've pretty much mastered one of the most difficult languages in the world haha, kudos to you! If you live in China or an Asian country maybe you could learn Vietnamese, Japanese, or Korean, but otherwise it'll be helpful to learn Spanish or French, they're pretty easy (especially compared to chinese!) and different from your language, which will make it all the more challenging.
