  1. Its probably nothing.

Taking your blood pressure and doing it correctly is doing it at the right time of day.

You really have nothing to worry about

If you are really freaking out go see your doctor and I'm sure they'll tell you that there is nothing to worry about.

you are 13, healthy, and if you had diabetes or some sort of blood pressure problem you would notice!

  2. if you were excited at the time, on any medications, had just finished walking around, were talking to someone, weren't totally relaxed, that all effects it. I'm sure you are fine, go to a doctor and get checked

  3. that's quite high. . . try checking it again in about 15 minutes or so. . be sure that ur not from a long walk or any activity. . . if it is  still high try contacting ur physician. . .

  4. Check it again if it is still high go to the hospital right away. I would also suggest laying down as it will help even out your blood pressure. Also you need to calm down because the more worried/upset you get the higher your blood pressure will go. Also remember sometimes blood pressure machines can be off by a lot.

  5. 121????? That can't be right..That is HIIIGHH  for a second number. o_o

  6. Those machines aren't always accurate. They need to be placed on your arm correctly. Have your bp done by a doctor. The best way to help you lower your bp is to relax with deep breathing exercises.

Don't ever trust those finger machines, they don't work.

  7. Both you systolic and diastolic number are on the high side.  You should have your BP checked by your physician.  13 is not unheard of to have heart desease.  twh

  8. don't panic.  sometimes meters are wrong  it could be the battery is low or maybe the cuff was not right at 107 pounds it could be your arm is too thin for the inflator to work properly  Have your mom check it again for you and then have a nurse or doctor check it with a manual check (at my dr office they always check manual with stethoscope

)  There are several varieties of home kits...most ask you to sit down with both feet on the floor and relax not to talk or move around while testing.  some have automatic switches that turn on when your arm is in the right position. when it starts to inflate you have to remain still and not move your arm until the test is over.  Some people become so nervous when being tested that this can affect the results.  Do not worry until the doctor or nurse has checked this out.  Your weight is very good for your height and age and if you feel good then you will probably have good readings.  good luck to you and do not worry until you have a definate reason to worry...  I use one of those meters every day and the readings are usually fine but every now and then they seem strange.  But in the dr office they are always very good.
