  1. My thought is that if these folks are from Korea they get all the korean food they want back home.   Treat them to a piece of your heritage.

  2. Chicken long rice!

  3. Fido meat

  4. Cheeseburgers.  You can't compete with what they eat at home.  So don't even try.

  5. go to yelp.com and search korean food in your area. they have reviews from people like you and me and theyll give you a good idea of what the best restaurant is. go and get takeout because you cant just make very good korean food on the whim. and just be honest and say that you went and got takeout from a korean restaurant and that you hope they like it. they should be gracious and impressed that you are both honest and know how to get the job done when needed. either that or cook filipino food for them and show them something different.

  6. Anything except Korean food, people enjoy a change and do not enjoy more of the same (especially when its not done as well as they are used to)

  7. Filipino specialties (like adobo, grills, pancit, seafoods etc. plus local sweets like halo halo, cassava cake etc). That should be a new treat for them (they'll apreciate sampling the local food). Keep in mind though that Korean food is generally spicy, so you might want to spice up the dishes a bit ;) They also love fresh seafoods and veggies and soups, so you might want to serve dishes like those. Why not let them try salmon/tuna belly sinigang, with fresh veggies thrown in (not forgetting some chillies). That was a hit with my Japanese and Korean friends. The golden rule is to keep it fresh and spicy! Good luck ;)
